Brand new Weber 12F150 goes into my Deluxe Reverb!
This is my Deluxe Reverb's original speaker, a Jensen Concert.
I know it should be a different model, but I am the second owner and that's what the original owner says!
Speaker and reverb tank removed, vacuumed the dust out.
See how irregular the circular cutout is! The little computer fan is a non-original addition by me, of course ;-)
Speaker cord and original "F" plug.
Soldered on with the plug in a wooden cotton thread reel about as vintage as my amp so it won't move.
Ted Weber signed this one for me.
Since this was made especially for me. Makes it more personal, somehow!
New speaker and cord in place.
Ready for reuse of the original 11/64 nuts! Needed to go to home depot first to get new stainless steel washers instead of the toothed originals that would eat into the speaker frame.
That's it!
With the Weber label on. I also attached a strain relief to the cord.
Finished!
Now ready to fire it up!!
